Good to Know
A few details to ensure a safe, seamless experience for everyone.
1
Age of Care
MinneSitters provides event childcare for children of all age ranges. Activities and staffing are thoughtfully planned around the ages and needs of the children attending.
2
Check-In & Check-Out
All children must be checked in and out by an authorized adult. Parents/guardians must remain reachable throughout the event and provide current contact information at check-in.
3
Health & Wellness
For the health of our guests and team, children experiencing fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or symptoms of a contagious illness may not participate in MinneSitters childcare.
4
Allergies & Medical Needs
All allergies, medical conditions, developmental considerations, and other care needs must be disclosed prior to the event so we can determine whether appropriate accommodations can be safely provided.
5
Medication
MinneSitters staff do not routinely administer medication. Emergency medication policies and any necessary accommodations must be discussed and approved in advance.
6
Meals & Snacks
Food is only provided when included in the event agreement. Parents must disclose all food allergies and dietary restrictions in advance.
7
Diapering & Toileting
Diapering and toileting assistance must be arranged as part of the agreed service and will be provided according to MinneSitters care procedures. Parents should provide any child-specific supplies required.
8
Behavior & Safety
We want every child to have an amazing experience. If a child's behavior creates an ongoing safety concern for themselves, another child, or our team, we may contact their parent/guardian for assistance or require the child to be picked up.
9
Parent Accessibility
MinneSitters provides on-site event childcare. A parent or designated responsible adult must remain at the event or otherwise meet the supervision/accessibility requirements established for that particular service.
10
Staffing & Safety
Children are cared for by carefully selected, background-checked education professionals who are CPR & First Aid certified. Staffing is determined by guest count, ages, needs, and the nature of the event.
11
Final Guest Count
Final child counts and age information are required before the event. Significant changes may require additional staffing and could affect the final investment.
12
Late Pick-Up / Extended Care
Care is provided only during the contracted service period. Additional time is subject to staff availability and additional fees.
13
Photography
Photos or videos of children will never be taken or used for MinneSitters marketing without appropriate parent/guardian permission.
